For those who are getting problems accessing ROOT on your iDevice and DiskAid says your iPhone / iPod / iPad is not jailbroken – fix is underneath:

1) OpenCydia:

2) Search afc2add

3) Install afc2add

4) Reboot device

Problem is caused by missing AFC2 code from jailbreaks which is required for transfer of files through SHH on a jailbrokendevice.

Tested on my:

iPod Touch 1G 8GB

iPod Touch 2G 8GB

iPhone 3G 8GB
